Or if we don't do that.. the goal would/could be to "hopscotch" from one property to the next as we build our portfolio.The challenge is both my wife and I work remotely (and she does hold a Realtor Lic. in CO, (and in IL*)) so great (fiber preferred) internet is a must. 

I'm not seeing any high end finishes in these.That’s what I am seeing in most areas all in including drawings, Enginering, surveys, permits, inspections, tap fees, utilities, site work, temp power and temo toilet, trash and sweep outs, Fiber cement siding like hardy plank, architectural shingles or better, hardwood, ceramic tile, granite countertops, upgraded appliances and cabinets, upgraded light fixtures plumbing fixtures.

I could careless if the door is made from paper mache or carbon fiber when it comes to durability.

Has anyone ever done a concrete fiber countertop?

So far the top two options I have come across or have seen on neighboring properties are stucco or siding (vinyl or fiber/cement).

I rehabbed one many years ago and left the original asbestos siding in place but did replace the cracked and broken tiles with the newer cement fiber shingles. 

And most of them are literally low-lives...Constructors, handymen, property managers - you literally have to go through 100 to find one person with moral fiber worth anything.
