Well, he didn't take that very well and demanding reason. wrote a very lengthy respond basically calling me out as an ethically challenged slumlord and he is probably going to die in the streets and have to have his cats killed, live in his van, i could go on and on. health, financial issues, which i do somewhat believe just not to the extent he claims.

I’m in the Catskill region of NY hoping to purchase a property for STR.

I wanted to share and get your feedback about this selection:Cabin in Shandaken, NYEasily maintained and close to so many popular upstate attractions, this cute little cabin makes for the perfect Catskills escape.

I know its rather remote for full time residents, but maybe a revitalization of the Catskill region for weekend homes and vacation homes is in order.  

You can make great returns on a house hack, maybe even pairing your residence with a cool STR if you find a single family with accessory in the Catskills or Hudson Valley.

Does anyone have experience investing in the Hudson Valley, NY (Kingston, Stone Ridge, Woodstock, Catskill,  Saugerties, Etc...)

I am looking for a pure percent (profit sharing) agreement, but am willing to be flexible on terms.I have worked with one local town supervisor in the county who was super encouraging and helpful as a resource, but at this point I'm looking to widen my search to any location in the Catskills area as long as the property has the utilities and other features I'm looking for.  

I'm looking at Phoenicia/Catskill Region but am a little concerned about taking the leap. 

I also purchased a small house in the Catskills towards to the end of 2018.

We are looking to purchase a property in Smallwood or Bethel region in upstate NY (Catskill region).
