AirBnB - Catskills (Smallwood & Bethel Experiences

HI BP!

We are looking to purchase a property in Smallwood or Bethel region in upstate NY (Catskill region). The area appears to have strong profitability. Looking to see if anyone has any current/past experiences in this region. It's a beautiful part of the country and we are eager to get started. 

Couple points on the area:

Attractions:

- Bethel Performing Arts Centre (outdoor music performances every weekend during the summer)

- Short distance to ski hills in the Catskills region

- Cute downtown area

- Many lakes for summer activities

- State parks, walking trails are plentiful.

Neighborhood/Property:

- Easily accessible to major highways

- Residential neighborhood, cute streets and plenty of little cottages for summer getaways

- Two bed property, spacious outside area, lots of wildlife around

Would love some tips, suggestions for purchasing and operating in this area. We will of course do our due diligence with regard to compliance, local ordinances, along with keeping in good company with our neighbors.
