I am a former Appraiser "Trainee" stopped just short of getting my full license when the market crashed in '08.

Just had to add my two-cents here regarding @Alexander Felice's comments:1)  Seems like a strange place to voice housing discrimination against military- considering most people in this forum have honorably served their country.2)  The mostly young Air Borne soldiers of Fort Bragg vs pilot trainees in an 18 month program are two very different things.  

Hi,I was researching a real estate company that posted an intern job as a Commercial Real Estate Acquisition trainee.

Most people just don't go out looking for trainees per se so you need to show that you can add value to their operation.

I saw an ad that said "real estate investor seeks trainee", on a lawn, coming off of the highway. is this a wise ad to follow up on?

I have applied for a Trainee Position at a Property Management Company in Edmonton. 

The catch is, I don't know anyone looking to take on a trainee.If anyone in the community is an appraiser looking to hire a trainee, or has advice on finding a position, we need to talk!

Construction, property management, realtors assistant, appraiser trainee, home inspection company, sales/negotiating, investors assistant, Bigger Pockets is hiring as well!

I would even be open to having the "bird dog" (or trainee, or apprentice, or whatever you want to call it) doing the actual negotiating and getting to a price verbally that everyone can agree on, so long as this person understands the market and our needs enough to do so. 

Anyone who has an appraisal license in San Diego? I want to obtain my license but I don't know where to start. Any help would be very appreciated. Thanks
