When I acquired my own portfolio I did so largely by my own version of BRRR which involved paying cash for a property, fixing it up, renting it out and then a year later getting a Wells Fargo HELOC on them and using that money to buy another house.

Not sure what state you are, but here your lease wouldn't be "void"  Anything that conflicts with the code would be (landlord-tenant code supersedes leases in DE anyway)I would just say you had them sign an older version of your lease in error and need them on the current one.

Still stuck at the 2015 version because I own that license, and I refuse to do the annual subscription - especially given that the annual fee is close to what a lifetime license used to cost.

Here is the short version. 

Its why I have been able to rebound with bank loans for my new construction .. and of course back to work funding fix and flippers but just a smaller version and much more particular thats why I would never fund anything in most parts of Jackson every again.
