Hey @Stephen MurrayWell, the first step would be to check to see how the low is zoned and what the permisible uses are.From there, you could potentially have several options like RV/Trailer storage, seasonal 'farms' (Christmas trees, fruits/veggies, pumpkin patch, etc), camp ground, etc.What is ultimately going to be your best option will really depend on the location and size of the lot, so be sure to consult with others in your local area to get ideas as well.Best of luck!

But it really astounds me that folks would just send post cards out spend that money as little as it is.. and really not have a clue what to do next.I think they should spend money learning the craft first then spend money on marketing the chance that this person will land a deal is remote.. unless they get the proverbial fell off the pumpkin truck.what ever happened to apprenticing.. this is why the mortality rate for wholesaling is about 97%... totally got it *** backwards..

When the trucks came in we didn't have a fork lift so one person was in the 18 wheeler and the other person was throwing the pumpkins, watermelons, wheat straw, pine straw, bags of potting soil, plants, crates off food at you.

Along the lines of what Jon said, not real sure what grows in that area, but if you could do Christmas Trees or Pumpkins, those are a couple things that would be seasonal and pull in some good cash.

They become the local expert, and anyone thinking about selling their home in that neighborhood has a notepad, a calendar, several postcards, a pumpkin, etc from this one guy, maybe I should use him!

Or maybe a spiced pumpkin latte since its all the rage? 

I grew up on a farm and looked into it some a while back, basically it doesn't make a whole lot of sense from an investment standpoint unless you personally have some project where you can generate much higher yields than normal from it (like a pumpkin farm or something, or oil wells, lol).
