@Shaun MooreI created my first LLC on my own but didn't think the money saved was worth the hassle so now I just an attorney and pay a flat fee. 

You can call it Shaun Hunt Property Management and in most jurisdictions, you won't need a DBA because your individual name  is present.

@shaun Reilly is probably correct for trends in your state.When I make a loan I have them sign off verifying that the loan is for the purpose of fix and flip and under no circumstances will it be OO.

Hi @Shaun CaldwellI will admit that I don't have much experience in renting by the room, except for when I had roommates, but i do think that you should find out if there are any city ordinances that would prohibit more than 2 or 3 non-related family members living in the same dwelling or on a lease.Other than that, I think that a student rental may work if there is a college/university near you.Good luck.
