They are a couple in their seventies, so I see their obvious aversion to having the landlord coming around to take care of things as evidence of their desire for privacy (see below about dementia)--I don't think they're trying to hide illegal activity, for example.

The facade needs tuck pointed, there is a front porch needing sanded down and repainted, fixing a couple glass block windows in the basement, and I am planning on getting a new privacy fence installed as well as a concrete parking pad in the alley.
