I got a call last night from the fire Department, they were called by my tenant because his smoke/carbon monoxide detector was going off.

The basic setup is 2 sensors (door and window), a motion sensor, siren, and key pad.

You can always tell your tenants that your are coming to do a preventative maintenance check (ie. change/check a/c filter, test smoke detector, etc.) and in reality check out the unit..

In all our homes I install motion detector with lights in front and back .

I'd provide extinguishers, as well as smoke detectors (hard-wired if you can).  

Usually the servicer still sets a foreclosure sale date so that in case you back out, they will not have to go through the motions again.

Walls that prevent forward motion can be gotten around by going around, over, under or blow them up and walk through them.Walls and enemies can’t stop a focused and determined individual from succeeding.

I went through the motions doing this and feel like I wasted some money.

I am currently rewiring a duplex I just bought and wanted some feedback on this:I'm putting smoke detectors in each unit, should they all be connected?

I just set the wheels in motion to do this on one of my vacancies.
