Monthly pest control treatment equals monthly rental inspection

I was interviewing a new PM for some properties in another part of GA.  He mentioned that he pays a one woman pest control company $30 bucks a month to go in and spray all of the rentals he manages.  Of course she conveys to what is going on in the property, such as five more tenants than what the lease says there should be for the small two bedroom one bath house.

Obviously, this is not going to work for everybody, but in certain situations it could be an excellent way to keep track of your property for a relative inexpensive amount.
