We were hired to build a custom hunting lodge barndominium.

Things like packing, shipping, storage fees, earnest money lost on another purchase contract, loan fees on a new home, even meals and lodging after cleaning out their home.

Some expenses I don't see accounted for: AirBnB fees, lodging tax, sales tax, utilities, TV, internet.Here are some estimations:Utilities: $100TV/Internet: $100AirBnB fee: 3% of bookings or ~$36Taxes: 10% or more is my guess, $120Original cost to convert: $5,000 which over a 5-year period breaks down to $84 a monthThat's $440 in expenses you haven't accounted for.

If we would educate ourselves better at the safety items other public lodging facilities have to follow, it would help keep guests safer and give assurance to the local community.Located at one of the top 20 STR in the mid-west, congrats to another brilliant Missourian!.......

I am beginning to HATE IT already, especially since we can stay on the lake at the Big Cedar Lodge and live like kings and queens and leave all the mess behind....thanks for the perspective....What the HE!!
