I also took advantage the the Chap tax credit the city offers to keep the taxes frozen at the as is value for 10 years which stays with the property and benefits the buyer.

I recommend you make sure the place gets properly heated while water is on and also recommend that they actually turn off the interior house shut-off when not in use to avoid frozen burst pipes and also an unattended leak that could cause lots of damage.

@Dan Handford lots of damage has been done to businesses and the economy but with all the federal money being pumped in combined with frozen payments (auto, utility, mortgage, student debt), we are not feeling the pain yet.
