Let me know if you have any questions, I originally started my investment search in the Burlington and surrounding areas before deciding to move to a warmer climate and am familiar with the area.

I can see the value in 'pop up' extra space for an office or family room or bedroom,  latter case as long as the user doesn't mind running inside to the main house to use the facilities, meanig it would work best with year round mild climate.

That's exactly what I'm trying to avoid while still attempting to use vinyl flooring.This wasn't an issue when they built the house in that the floors were wood, and they breathed...no different than the first line item in building code exceptions §1203.4.2 which states "where warranted by climatic conditions, ventilation openings to the outdoors are not required if ventilation openings to the interior are provided"....but we aren't talking about code here, we're talking about solutions to an existing problem without spending a ton of money.

Between the taxes and the WEATHER (this year was the tipping point), I would definitely be on the move out if it wasn't for my job and all the family I have nearby.Part of my REI plan is definitely to grow enough passive income to get a low cost winter escape in a warm climate, thinking Texas, SCarolina, or Florida, and then a summer place in Northwest Indiana to be close to Chicago without the IL taxes.At least that's the plan!
