It takes awhile to get used to this process, but you will get the hang of it.I think repair costs go back to knowing your market and getting a deal under your belt.

@Jordan MoorheadGood recommendation from @George Blower you can roll over the 401k later if you want alternative investments.

There are parts of the country especially in rural areas or cold belt states where over expansion occurred and the towns demographics did not support that level of development.

Like me I currently invest in Ionia and Clinton counties hoping to add a few more to my belt soon.

Commercial loans are typically not for new investors, so you may need a few properties and a few years under your belt before the banks will work with you.
