I am registering an LLC in CA for multifamily investment.

I would check state law; in some states, if your property is in an LLC you actually have to have an attorney for the eviction process.

I know the interest they get is taxable I would probably have to set up a LLC with them being equal partners.

Am I required to have my rental property in an LLC?  

My settlement statement has "Housemax Funding LLC" as the lender on both closing statements, however, they told me that they sold the loan to a REIT (NY Trust).  2.

Where should I form my LLC?

So I just created an LLC and it was formed with the State about a week ago so I have a little under 70 days left to decide which tax classification I would like to elect before it is defaulted as a disregarded entity, for a single owner. 

Another agent mentioned that they may still look up the members of the LLC. 

They have an LLC for each building.

I am all ears if anyone has any wisdom to impart to a newbie.So, I recently launched an LLC and I am working on getting it certified as a Woman Owned business; not sure if that will help in any way, but I figure it can't hurt.
