I think the government should go after the offending landlords and not make blanket rulings and processes that punish landlords that are already being good to their tenants.

Trolls are miserable people, they hate life and so they are their own punishment lol and the asperger kids that come on here and heckle people like you will never succeed in business because nobody will ever want to work with them if they communicate like that.

Does not matter what the municipality says if you have not been consistently collecting the fee tenants are no longer obligated to pay since the landlord makes the decision to collect not the municipality.Municipality is only a suggested guide line not mandatory.State legislation does not cover late fees.You would be farther ahead to train your tenants than attempting to punish them.

or you could say : Adding more regulations in the form of your proposed rental property registration on top of what you already have in place is not the way to reach these goals...here are some more things you might want to say: I do not feel adding another layer of regulation will solve the problem of repeat code enforcement violation offenders This type of additional regulation is unfair to the upstanding landlords in the city of Lakeland--we are all going to be punished for the sins of a fewRequiring all owners/property managers to be available to code enforcement 24 hrs a day/7 days per week is unreasonable and unacceptable.
