If the trust mentions the real property, but you never actually transferred ownership of it into the trust, likely the trust terms don't govern it yet. 

One question - If the property is covered by the insurance, would they honor the claim even after the change of ownership?

Five years later I filed the MH as abandoned via the State of Texas process and received my Statement of Ownership from the State.

If you are looking to have anonymity of ownership, they passed a Federal Law requiring LLC owners to disclose their ownership of the companies they control to the federal government.

@Scott Smith could I have a Texas series LLC take ownership of a Florida LLC  that has Florida property in it and provide the same protection or would have to have the property transferred in a Texas series LLC ?

As many of you may know, Assembly Bill 968 (AB-968) has recently been passed, which mandates a comprehensive disclosure of repairs and renovations from sellers who flip one-to-four-unit properties within 18 months of buying them.For those who are not familiar with the details, AB-968 requires sellers to disclose all repairs and renovations performed on the property during their ownership period.

While a general rule is that you can purchase property in different states under an LLC formed in another state, you may wish to ensure that the LLC structure and path that you have set-up is appropriate for you and provides the benefits that you are looking for before transferring ownership into those LLCs.
