People that become landlords have to consider that rent collection/ eviction is a difficult process (with the wrong tenant) and there is no shame in outsourcing the work. 

If they need to outsource, we pay for the services plus a 10% fee to the property management company.

Otherwise I would outsource it to someone who loves it and works it every day.

For both, I outsourced the management, as they were in TX and we now live in AZ.  

It is what I'm best at and the remainder of the work can be outsourced.

Simply put it's gonna be the amount of money you pay your employees & or the quality of companies you outsource these tasks too.High level talent can take a lot off your plate but high level talent expects to be paid as such. 

I outsource my direct mail campaigns because I simply do not have the time to do it in house.

While expanding my personal business along with a business partner to 6 figures/month over the course of a year, the biggest thing I learned was maxing your strengths and outsourcing your weaknesses.My strength, for example was marketing, his was sales.

My goal is to outsource busy work so I can focus on financing and finding deals.

I find that very advantageous in the ski town I am in, as other PM's have outsourced these functions and had a lot of issues with quitters and no-shows.
