Hello Brad,VERY excited to receive your response.Presently, we are refining our business plan.WE are a team: 41 years as a sole proprietor self-employed carpenter /builder on the east coast from Maine to Florida.Jessica is the Operations Manager directly supporting the owners of an established Malibu, CA-based vegan company, with manufacturing located in the Philipines.

The property is a beat up manufactured home, but location and potential purchase price are drawing me to it.

The Institute for Supply Management’s “Manufacturing Purchasing Managers’ Index” for May will be released on Tuesday (6/1) and the Services equivalent on Thursday (6/3).

The property is already a successful Airbnb, and I plan on continuing it.It’s a fully furnished tiny house in a community outside Asheville for $125k.Since it’s technically a manufactured home, however, I’m having trouble getting financing and making the numbers work.I was approved for a 10 year loan with 20%down, but it’s almost $1500 a month.

I called a mobile home manufacturer and the wait time is approx. 1.5 years to get a singlewide. 

Contact your local manufactured housing group and ask for a referral to an attorney who specializes in MHP.  

I’ve spoke with a few prefab manufactures in several states to get a good idea of how they can deal with harsh weather if we decide to drop it on some land in the panhandle.

It's not a manufactured home, but they basically build a shell on slab using standard materials and you finish out the interior walls / decor yourself. 

My experiencebefore jumping through all the hoops to get a dealers license I googled mobile home manufacturers in GA I emailed 3 manufacturers.  2 called me the next day and the 3rd emailed me I told them what o was considering and asked them how much they would sell me a standard 3/2 approx 1300 sq foot and 1500 sq foot house for if I was a licensed dealer     For me the price was not enough for me to do what is required to get my dealers license.
