If you don't know them prior to living with them then you have to take that risk, but I bet you they are feeling the same way about you.They are coming into YOUR property and being even more vulnerable than you are.

I wanted a tenant to use rent spree and they had the same concern which I agree with - as a lender, I use third-party software all the time, and I see the information that it provides, once you use third-party software, your information is vulnerable,and regardless of privacy policies, companies sell data and this is how identity theft  happens.
