Man being a landlord in California sucks.

If you don't do this, do you have a particular reason (such as you'd find out through a different part of your process that someone is scammy) or is it something you just never thought of incorporating into your screening?

I told her the amount and he is an older man who lives off her social security check.

If you read back through the archives, there's mention of another man, one with whom Bill Effros worked for a time, I believe.

Andrew,Man so much good knowledge has been dropped on this topic already so there isn't much to add other than its all on your personal experience level as well as your willingness to take risk.

But fast forward 5 years and man, we now know we had great timing!
