If your landlord turns off your utilities anyway to harass you, that’s illegal.

If the judgement will make you whole then block their number and forget about them, if not sell the awarded judgement to a collector and the collector will harass them.

He wants his deposit back, says the fire was my problem, wasn't going to move out, hired a lawyer to sue me for Harassment, illegally entering his apartment to repair the kitchen, illegal collection practices, wants me to put in new carpets and sign another lease and didn't move until I served him with a Three Day Notice.

For those of you with some experience, here is my story of the day, and I'm interested to hear any interpretations.

While you proceed through the aforementioned time and this guy likely continues his harassing ways it might be a good idea for you and the seller to start documenting events.  

I'll harass my friends and business contacts until those kids have what they need.  

Hopefully it throws off the scent and prevents future harassment.

Some of them are old school enough they have a hard time letting go, or dealing with a woman as a peer, but if you can find one of the old guys who is just happy as hell to talk to you about the different ways to join a cabinet, keep them well fed (cookies, buy them lunch, etc) and treat them like gold, and they'll help you like nothing else can.I also will harass/watch any contractor doing something I'm not skilled at.

One AG representative made the statement that if lenders would stop being evil his office would stop harassing them.
