To make a long, expensive story short, we discovered that builder failed to insulate an entire 3rd attic space and didn't seal wall cavities up in the main attic or insulate chases properly (Inspector failed too). 

Similar I had jurisdiction architect approve a sheer wall to ceiling but inspector required it to go to shingles.

To add some color the home next door is worth about 20-30%% of ours but if we bought today the mortgage payment on it would be about the same as ours.

Also have to remember this just prints the walls, you still have all the MEP rough in etc. to be done. 10+ years ago our stick built home was panelized and it took them a day to frame each floor. 

The existing granite is in perfect condition, but we're looking at changing colors.

The house went through inspections and everything passed with flying colors.

Both were a grey wood look plank and were easy to match in color and texture.

So when I moved out, I kept the furniture -- including a huge wall-mounted TV -- and rented it out on Airbnb full-time.
