They have their posititive and negative attributes but you don't need any prior experience.

The property card for your property should tell you exactly how much of the tax assessed value is attributed to the land and how much to the dwelling structure.  

It also has a lot of other good attributes like hardwood floor, nice glass box outside, and small office set up.

If you can articulate your positive attributes, explain your problem areas, and show enthusiasm for the unit/area, that should help.
