Just a Note on the 2020 Conference When booking a room at the Shereton you have to tell them that "BiggerPockets is one word" or they will not fine it.

Many listings do not allow refund, which means people who had their conferences cancelled are stuck paying the entire bill.

Hi, Does anyone know where on the BP website do you sign up for the conference in October?

It helped me establish relationships that supported my investing aspirations and the leadership helped me along the way.

That being said, I really value the clients that I connected with organically at a meet up or conference but it's less than half of my business. 

Just like you shouldn't buy a stock until after you research and understand what they do, their leadership structure, and their performance (among other factors), you also shouldn't start in real estate investing without first understanding WHY real estate is a good fit for YOU personally, and how it aligns with your life/financial goals. 

I also think we have an opportunity with a change in leadership that is coming.
