Universal design can be wider doors, and areas between counters, lower sinks with motion sensors in faucets, toilets that flush with motion detectors, diswashers, washers and dryers built up higher, pull out shelves and drawers, no thresholds on doorways, level floors on bathroom floors, and even elevators.

We are renovating a unit with huge walls of commercial shelving panelling.

I think the outside of the house could look cute with the right landscaping and some nice potted plants by the entrance, and maybe on those shelves on the exterior wall! 

Shelves, sinks and counters full of clutter communicate to the viewer that the home lacks storage space.Remove personal items too - trophies, family portraits, kids artwork on the fridge, etc. 

Lesson:  Good drywall costs money, start at $50 per sheet for the best and go from there according to your needs.Asking if they needed more storage shelves, of course they said yes! 

Also if not the full width of the bathroom, there will be some type of shelving/void to fill to consider.As a second or third bathroom, I would weigh more on the number of bedrooms up vs down and if there is another bathroom with a tub upstairs.
