While phone calls are fine for chatting, if a call is about something that needs to happen, I either ask the caller to send a text, or I'll make a written record of it by sending a text or email back to them.

It was worse if a seller didn't answer because our cold caller would then need to call every single number the next time they tried to call the seller.
