Any ideas on where, inside the perimeter, one can house hack without living in a war zone? 

What is interesting to me is that as of May 28, there are 618 SFR homes for sale in Area 21 on the FMLS map, which includes Buckhead & Sandy Springs inside the perimeter. 

Brandon this is about a 7-8 mos. project for us - to flip the entire building over and renovate it and get it back online with new tenant pool of occupants - I renovate as many as I can simultaneously, just set it up like a conveyer belt and move through them in sequence:*Demo team - remove all old fixtures, flooring etc, cut out all tile in whole sheets - then they set the new cement board and get the drywall hung and taped, set the new plumbing rough-in valve*Flooring and Tile team follow - get that installed with the new shoe mold on the perimeter*Painting team follows*Finish team returns for all fixture and finish install - *Painters complete touch-ups if needed *Cleaning team - BOOM!

In cold climates you want to make sure the deepened perimeter of the slab is below the frost line so the expansion of frozen soil doesn't heave the building up, but if it has been fine since the 50's you should be ok.

While the West Side is extremely pricey, areas further east and closer to the downtown perimeter are still great areas, with proximity and convenience that beats the reputation. 

Hence, my concern that finding this mold airborne it is very unusual.Possible SourcesIt is possible that the moisture is from outside air leaking in ... and if there is a gap/opening in a perimeter wall or window, then that could create the airflow that would cause this mold to become airborne.  

I recently went into the property and the tenant showed me a bunch of mold growing on the inside of the bedroom walls around the North perimeter of the house (two bedrooms) from the floor to about knee high. 

I work downtown ATL and 95% of those I work with live outside the perimeter (OTP - local lingo).

You can specify certain perimeters such as single family, duplex, owner occupied/absentee, etc. and they will provide you with a list of owners, property addressess, and mailing addresses. 

Today I DID...bought an accounting program to learnwent and walked the perimeter of the farm land- beautiful day for a cool brisk crunchy leaf walk in the woods.
