The house we just bought is in cabarrus county and currently 1300 sqft with a 200 sqft breezeway.

There are risks too, when buying condemned and burned-out houses because you may not be able to control the environment where these properties exist.

I have had 8 at my 3 bed/ 2 bath houses, largely because of the bathrooms. 

I still have one house with some existing K&T.

This is why we've seen good marketers gain massive wealth selling a false narrative, then ironically, use that wealth from the marketing to actually do the thing they first pretended to have in spades, now only possible via the marketing $.

Conversely, anyone can buy a random house in the midwest, underestimate capex, and... lose money. 

Part of the difference apparently is in them keeping the loan insted of selling it.

If you sell directly to a homeowner, the issue can come back on you and bite you in the a...  

I had to look it up but it looks like they are selling it from an inclusive package experience for the renter.
