Considering that CodeNext went down in very expensive flames, I doubt anyone on the council is willing to invest their political capital into restarting the process.

It does does a wonderful job in providing high R value and I know some is fire resistant.

So it will be hard to resist not spending as much money on the units where because of rent control I can only charge 600.00 to 700.00 per month.

Retail fills up much faster in my market.Office economy goes down they down size to warehouse space, move to office in house, or renegotiate the lease to take less space and do more commute work for themselves and employees,etc.I like retail because certain types of businesses NEED the storefront to drive sales on a daily basis mainly experiential type tenants and more internet resistant where consumers cannot conduct business online.Example a karate school where you go workout versus a vitamin shop where you can find a cheaper company online to order from and ship to your house or business.Office for medical can be strong.

SAFETY NOTE: The smaller a wire, the more resistance it has. 

I could fill books on all the deals that fell apart or "almost" happened.And finally you have to be pretty disciplined to be able to tell a deal from a non-deal, and after sifting through many lumps of coal, to resist the temptation to fudge the #s and try to make a non-deal into a deal when it really isn't one.I would recommend networking with other local investors especially at a local real estate group here in Rhode Island or southern Mass, especially those who have any experience wholesaling, and of course also anyone who might be a bona fide cash buyer :)

I don't know what it is, but people are drawn to "get rich quick" schemes like a fly to flame.

Pro's of both are they are waterproof, scratch resistant and easy to install.
