It might help you out if you're a hammer swinger type guy who can produce workmen like quality results versus homeowner DIY results.Someone who has been in this business for awhile , and brings a lot more knowledge , and contacts to the deal we'll have a lot better chance at performing a turn around on the property then to someone who is new and inexperienced.

But one of the best resources I've found is just reading, and listening to, as many books on the subject as I could find to really help deepen my knowledge and expertise.I actually just started listing to audio books over the last year or so and found a great app called Libby, that you can download for free through the Cleveland Public Library system and there's tons of great audiobooks on real estate and investing that I listen to when I'm driving and has helped me a lot!

@Lavette Reid Recommend you first figure out the property Class you want to invest in, THEN figure out the corresponding location to invest in.If you apply Class A assumptions to a Class B or C purchase, your expectations won’t be met and it may be a financial disaster.If you buy/renovate a Class A property in Class D area, what quality of tenant will you get?
