I’ve included a photo for reference of the kitchen which is the main attraction of the Mass home.Now I am looking to pursue REI long-term and am looking for tips on how those more experienced in the field have operationalized and scaled the property selection process.Our thinking for this first official investment is to either acquire a duplex/triplex and add our touch or acquire a single family where an ADU can be added.

Debt is attractive to most people because they don't have the funds to do a project and instead of saving for years this is faster and easier but things go wrong and if you don't have reserves you can quickly find yourself in trouble.

This amounts to lost opportunity because if you had purchased RE, at the closing it can start producing return. 5) ADUs detract from the existing structure whether this is privacy, a garage, or just yard space. 6) this is related to number 1, but there are many more buyers looking to purchase homes for their family than there are RE investors looking to purchase small unit count properties.

If after interest rates spiked a buyer waited for them to drop back to 7%, they would have waited 21 years til 1993 for them to get that low again.Hope he isn't holding his breath.
