Torch down asphalt is my least favorite since I don’t do them...I’ve had several installed on back porch roofs.

I worked at an asphalt plant with a bunch of a**holes.

Exterior painting, roofing, asphalt roadways, irrigation systems, lighting systems, pools and playgrounds, etc.

The asphalt parking was redone 2 years ago.And we have to check easement rights - I believe this should be fine but we will double-check, as they have been using the neighboring property as an easement for over 25 years.

A simple light bleaching of the asphalt shingles will take the stain out of the roof (before the painting obviously).

Thus, no potholes as you drive over the waterholes and displace soil.You could also put Recycled Asphalt over it, but it has to be the proper size. 

Have been to a few meetups but will continue to hit the pavement.

But if you have to spend more to acquire it and the general public only values it similarly to 3-tab asphalt then it will never gain popularity.

I was thinking if they resurface the entire asphalt (not just to their access - they did not pay for any of the initial asphalt or purchase it) and agree to 25% of maintenance forever (they would be the 4th owner to use the access) then maybe we should allow access. 

To me it feels like you are pretty much just in your units for an appreciation play... which is fine... but while you wait for that to happen, you have to deal with the in-between... which are the repairs, the condo assessments for new pavement or roofs, or anything else they can dream up they want to replace... the pool, etc.
