My husband and I just purchased a four complex apartment in Las Vegas we are new at this and was wondering if there was a list that we could obtain of what questions we need to ask our realtor on what we need to know about being a landlord ....

@David Miller the property itself is great, the area is working towards building a casino, and rentals fill quick, it’s literally just the road that’s a weird quirk.

(And if this is a Las Vegas property, where condo hotels seem most common, you will need a broker licensed in NV.

Property radar on the west coast already does this and any TRUE court house step bidder their title company will do all this for free.In Vegas for instance the sales are in the parking lot of a title company daily and they hand out the exact same type of info.. go no go caution etc.. based on their title searchs.. plus they have reps walking around helping U.In other markets were title is pulled by abstractors think most of north east from SC north..

I started back in 2002 doing flips in Las Vegas, and then adding some buy and hold. 

I know LIDs probably aren't common in all areas of the country, but they are in the Vegas area and I don't find it easy to get information.For the record....I always factored this cost into my calculations and still liked the "big picture" as far as cash flow.   

We just bought our 3rd home and looking to get into multi-family properties In Vegas this summer.
