There is one exception, The Atchison Village Credit Union, which is a lender that exists to help make the neighborhood more affordable.

I'd check out Driving Park or Hungarian Village. 

Typical banks will not take a mortgage on these units because the property remains in possession of the corporation.The only lender that I know of is the Atchison Village neighborhood credit union.

Hello, so my friend purchased a home built in 1961 in Ventura county (Moorpark/Thousand Oaks/Westlake Village/Simi/Agoura area) with popcorn ceilings with the intention to rent it out and/or Airbnb part of it.

I have done a flip in the East English Village, to try the market, and just listed the pty.I am currently looking for a team to work with me,  pointing me in the right direction (as I'm not a local and my knowledge of the area is limited) and start doing serious buy and hold investments in Detroit.Interviewing agents and brokers is proving challenging, but I will keep trying until I find the right team for me.If you have any recommendation, it will be greatly appreciated!
