Help them out, be their sounding board become immersed in the business of real estate and opportunities will come up. 5 years is easy, try doing it in 3 and while your at it why not 2 million instead?

Just immerse yourself into the local real estate scene.

You really need to immerse yourself and learn all you can.

Vacancy rates at/below 2%, great schools (including some highly-rated public, private and Spanish immersion enrollment options) and AMAZING outdoor trail systems and dedicated green space - not to mention the Great Lake Superior and North Shore!

Having your RE license certainly helps a lot - forces you to constantly immerse yourself in real estate. 

I’ve been immersing myself into everything I can learn every day.

Read books and listen to podcasts and try to immerse yourself as much as possible.

This is true immersion in the business.  

I’m just getting started in the game and have been immersing myself in literature, blogs, forums and chatting with people who got a lot of skin in the game.
