If my GOAL was to be a real estate investor and I lived in a terrible market, then I would move to a more favorable market.passing out advice like your the "rental god" and what you say go's is not smart, and can be very misleading to investors in markets other than yours.It's ironic that you would make a statement like that when just a couple of months ago you were grilled by nearly every successful investor on another forum for spewing inaccurate nonsense.

Myself and a couple other local BP members have a meetup planned next Thursday the 14th in Cary at Rally Point Sport Grill from 6-9pm.

We have a monthly meet-up at Melt Bar & Grilled in Independence the last Thursday of every month (Thursday August 29th at 6:00pm). 

My strategy from the beginning has been networking and finding people with experience, offering to take them out for a coffee or a beer, and listening to their experience while grilling them with as many questions as possible.My goals in joining biggerpockets are to continue to learn from those with more experience than me while making better connections in the local markets that I have interest in (Bakersfield, greater Boston, Japan) while sharing my experiences and advice with those newer to real estate who may be interested in the areas I have experience.

I go through at least 4/yr between grilling and homebrewing.

Maybe I could install a faux outdoor A/C vent grill to cover up the window??
