They will promote it because it is what is available to them.

Colorado is a solidly blue state now, used to be purplish, but we're still better than every other state in every way (most consistent appreciation, increasing rents, population growth, recreation opportunities, moderate climate, recession-proof jobs in diverse industries, desirability, affordability, landlord friendly laws, the list goes on...).

The wonderful thing about Chicago is the diversity of neighborhoods and investment opportunities, from small to big. 

I think that diversifying is also good-- diversify in markets, diversity in type, and diversity in class grades.

There are lots of people who do arbitrage and also promote courses on "getting started with $0". 

I'm sorry @Ryan Twomey, I wanted to ignore this but.... it just seems so egregious when in context of your significant self-promotion along with such a wildly bizarre and totally incorrect: "....emerging markets such as Minneapolis, MN...".
