As a foreigner can I get a (FHA) loan?

I'm sure some RE agents could comprehend and assignment but I'm sure for some- it would be a foreign concept that they've never dealt with. 

I love the idea of purchasing foreign investment property, but it is, how can I put it, so foreign of an idea to me :-)

Since right now inventory is so low( I don't really understand why we have low inventory though) I don't think there are a lot of subprime behind the payment like last 2006, which caused real estate to crash and there are a lot of cash buyer from foreigner.

Hawaii may be different as it seems to attract foreign capital from Asia, making it less dependent on US economic cycles, but I don't know enough about the factors driving that market.My personal preference is to force equity by making improvements, which lead to increased cash flow, which improves the NOI, which increases the value (assuming the prevailing cap rates remain stable).Erik (here to learn)

There is SO much foreign money here, you don't have to worry about getting too pricey (in general, not relative to the area, of course).
