Here’s a bit of background on my current situation:I own one rental property that generates $1,900 per month in rental income, and it is paid off ($300K).My primary residence is also paid off ($288K).I’m currently building another rental property with cash ($200K).

STR is a bit weird because the Covid travel demand pushed the price hardcore for the last few years. 

Currently my husband are out of state investors with 3 single family rentals in KC. 

I currently own one property, and I’m planning to purchase another.

The exemption allowed results in a “taxable value” of either 75% of the “ATI fair market value” or the final Current Fair Market Value for the tax year of sale, whichever is higher.

Current balance of loan is around $380k.
