In 2011, I purchased the home I grew up from in the Bay Area, California for $350,000.

I believe I have an unfair advantage when it comes to finding the best person for a specific job, due to being on union job sites all around the east bay daily.

It likely isn't possible anywhere in Boston proper - think Southie, Brighton, Back Bay, or even Somerville, etc.

I would love to get the opinon of other bay area folk who have considered this and/or doing it.Heres my thought process--> 500K equity in current home--> sell home--> find a househack in either Oak, San Leandro or Alameda ( sticking to these areas because I want my kids to remain in the school they are in).

I'm on the hunt for my first BRRRR deal, preferably in the Tampa Bay area!

Went thru @Dawn Anastasi's book and that says it is close to Bay View which is a B- area, but what about this neighborhood?
