The townhome/condo model where you rent by the room for the rooms you aren't using.

Even back then there were a lot of high rise hotels where you could get a decent condo-style room with hot water, cable tv etc for really cheap ($15-20USD/night).

I am already seeing industry shifting towards both models. 

That is for, if necessary for us to sell our existing home and move to the number one produced, which will be the first "model home".
