likely  not worth it ...there is a lot of  regulatory  beaucracy in place  when it comes to appraiser   relationships with lenders  ( AMCs are in between )  ..lots of time  is required to get to a point where you are  certified and you will not make very much for the  time you will put in to the mix  ...if  you are  interested  in doing it  -that would be  great as many appraisers  are retiring and  there are not many young ones  coming in
