And third, you can make sure your lease's guest policy and non-smoking clauses are beefed up and made extremely clear to the tenants.Lastly, you probably inspected the property at least once or twice before closing, so you would have likely been able to determine if there was any significant smoke damage or cigarette smell inside.

I want tenants that pay on time and take good care of the property...... other than that I could not care less what their political views areUnless those displays are damaging your property in some way/shape/form, leave them aloneGo ahead and put it in your lease...... tell your tenants what the can/cant believe politically.... see how that goes.... hope you have a good attorneyWow... have we really come to this??

I didn't owe anything, but I had sold my car to someone who racked up several thousand in parking fines and then promptly disappeared so they tried to flip the charges back on me as I was the only one left with money to collect.I called an attorney who sent them a cease and desist letter along with a warning that they would be liable for substantial damages if they ever contacted me again (and we would sue if they did).
