Honestly this guest would have been happier at a 3 star motel for the same money.

Ironically, it made me a lot happier playing music in general, because instead of killing myself trying to "get big", I could just pick and choose what I was and was not willing to play. 4 AM Thursday club shows? 

When I was in your shoes back in 2019, I ended up going with Rent to Retirement after a pretty exhaustive search and vetting process of turnkey companies and I couldn't be happier. 

Chances are if you are someone looking to leave your job, you are also picturing time freedom, not just leaving your job, so picking an investment strategy that sucks up a lot of time isn't going to make you any happier.

So at some point in my 50s I realized I would be much happier focusing on what I love to do and allowing other people to manage properties, managers, etc.

Think about what makes your life easier and happier as a landlord.   

I am happier than I have ever been where I am currently with eXp, but it's not everyone's cup of tea since they don't have set eXp offices and they don't provide leads.

If you have a great attitude and put in the effort more things will fall into place and your life will be better, and in the end, whether its investing or its a career, having a better, happier life is what we all want...CONTROL AND FOCUS ON YOUR ATTITUDE AND YOUR EFFORT....they are the only things you can do and remain sane!
