That’s because many of us are debt averse - mostly because we don’t distinguish between debt used for consumer goods and debt used for appreciating, or income producing investment.

Accommodating a tenant, full time, with utilities, water, power, electric, internet, linens, towels, pots, pans, electronics and a clean, safe, functional space is hard enough to do for oneself, let alone for others, often hours or many states away. 

Still, I believe it's always a good idea to surround oneself with people on a mission.
