I agree with Bryan, the age (and condition) of the major systems is what I would care most about, so I would find an excellent inspector to look at everything with fine toothed comb.

We combed through each condo ($225/ea) and the basement.  

IN the meantime, she says they go through the property with a fine tooth comb and "hoops" are finishing all that up to their specs but she says once you understand they are going to do that, it's just part of the process.  

And at the end of the day- everything I do is reviewed with a fine tooth comb by the person you would have paid 3x as much to complete the work instead. 

I've been coming up with my own twist for marketing for off-market homes:Might not be the most efficient, but rather than pay for a list I've been combing Zillow in target area codes for properties of interest.

I look forward to combing through more of the wonderful threads already on this forum, but wanted to get thoughts based on what the current market is offering as well.  

A friendly customer in line at the time mentioned amazon having a service, but I have combed through my amazon prime pages and don't see it. 

This is advice from a non professional, who meticulous comb through county records for liens and title ownership as well as MLS data before making an offer.

I would go through that place with a fine tooth comb and make sure you don't get any surprises after your start opening walls up.
