Looking ahead, I can see that we are both going to need some alternate forms income in order to successfully pay back our student loans, achieve financial freedom and live the lifestyle we want to live.

Owning a home is a life style choice not an investment.

A fantastic lifestyle. ( And the winter winds are gruesomely cold Although it is a brief winter. ) The rest of the world, is just a bit far from Perth. 

Lancaster/Palmdale has areas that could offer you a good return for rentals - keep in mind that the area has a different lifestyle of living -  more of a family/commuter town than a hip/cool place to live.

Most people's lifestyles do not come anywhere close to using that money on an annual basis.I find younger want very high yields to try to grow money from 100k, 300k, 800, 1 million and up and then ramp down after they have made it.

Mountain properties are great for lifestyle, but I've invested up there and have always experienced negative cash flow.  

I'd like to become financially independent so I can do lifestyle, political commentaty and social activism videos via youtube to further the humanist agenda.

I currently work a 40+ hour/week job, but rehabbing is a life style choice, almost like a fun hobby that can be financially rewarding as well! 

So, it is important to have good pictures of your offered products or services for enticing your potential buyers and make them imagine using your products using in their lifestyle.
