I was initially confused because the OTA manages the taxes on cleaning whereas if I end up paying more for cleaning, I'm not aware that I have to remit further taxes to the government beyond what's already known.

You as a private person can’t rent your private property to another private party at a price you both agree to Hopefully the supreme court take the NY case and either abolishes it requires the government to pay for the taking as required under the constitution.
