Hello,My wife and I recently found a property that fits all of the things we are looking for, perfect location, price, rooms, etc. except for one problem: The previous owner was a smoker :( Does anyone have experience buying/renting out/living in a home previously owned by smokers?

At a county level will be an uphill battle imo, but I'm not a local so I'm going off what is out there in the public docs.But really think Black Mountain will be the right place for what we are trying to do.

We are still waiting to see how this will play out in the state when someone is made to be an example by not following the rules.

That's Property Management 101.If your PM didn't have this lined up and didn't make you aware of this limitation upfront, that's a red flag.
